2FA = 2 Factor Authentication
Two Factor Authentication is commonly used (and recommended) to insure that no one but you can log in. I use it not only for my websites and my clients’ websites. I have it turned on for every only account that offers it.
For your own websites however there is an alternative to 2FA: configure your firewall to prevent logins from any IP address but your own. Now if your IP address changes frequently like mine (I use CenturyLink for internet access) it can be a pain in the rear, but it is still more convenient than 2FA.
